So moving, Bel. Thank you for this reminder this morning that the hardest stuff is that which gets us to the starting line in the first place. These are the everyday stories I want too. Please gather them and keep telling them. Xx

Thank you lovely, and yes so true isn’t it. I absolutely intend to gather them and share as best I can. Xx

This was a great read! Though I must admit I wanted to know more about all of it! Definitely love the way you write about the world and people and how we can all find our place and way in it xx

A wonderful story, full of wisdom.

‘I felt in my bones – the need to run to hold on to a sense of myself.’

Thank you. Isn’t it always the case of you think you know what you want to say, you have a notion, but it isn’t until you work it through that it comes alive and reveals things you didn’t see… Keep following the thread I guess. x

I love that process tbh, that you think you know exactly where some thing is going and then... You're down a rabbit hole but it's stronger for it

Totally agree, I spend a lot of time in rabbit holes!

Yes to all of this, motivation in movement is such a powerful thing. Running has helped me through many tough times in my life and its the motivations becoming kinetic that I remember most.

That is beautifully written and an honest sharing. Immediately evoked emotion deep in my stomach and it now sits in my chest, pausing time! I didn’t expect that, I thought I may get a quick insight into one of your adventures. It laid me bare too! A reminder just there! What a great piece, thank you! X

Fabulous piece. I’m not a runner but I get the thing about persisting through hard things. I was talking to my mum last night about her decision to learn to swim at 50 and how it opened up a decade of adventure and reaching beyond herself. Really inspiring, as is Rob’s and your story. Indeed, tell the stories you must xx

That is an incredible story, such a brave thing to do. Isn’t it true that reaching beyond in one aspect of our life, so often translates into other things. I hope your Mum had a summer of good adventures and you also enjoyed yours. Xx

A beautiful read Bel, thank you for sharing this experience. I couldn’t agree more, it’s the seemingly small but actually huge adventure stories that I want to hear. x
